Each year, we partner with the City of Crestview to serve those attending the 4th of July celebration at Twin Hills Park. Our approach is simple: we set up our tents in a central location and hand out free bottled water throughout the event. This gives us a great opportunity to show tangible love to our community and often opens the door to gospel-centered conversations or invitations to join us for worship. We’ll wrap up our time of serving by watching the fireworks together as a church family at 9:00 PM.
While we typically have many Hub City folks hanging out throughout the evening, the city has extended the length of this year’s event. Because of that, we’d like to schedule volunteers to help staff the tent in hourly shifts leading up to the fireworks.
If you’re able to serve, please let us know and indicate your availability by clicking the event graphic above!
Another simple way you can support this outreach—whether or not you’re able to serve—is by donating a case of 40 bottled waters. You can drop it off in the lobby on Sunday mornings, or leave it by the lobby doors in the breezeway during the week. Please bring all donations prior to July 4th!
D-GROUPS
Over the past few weeks, Pastor Tadd has been sharing the vision for D-Groups—the final piece of our church’s discipleship model.
These small, gender-specific groups (3–5 people) are designed for intentional spiritual growth through Bible reading, accountability, prayer, and Scripture memory — all with the goal of making disciples who make disciples.
We’re planning to launch mid-summer and are currently gathering interest. If you’d like to be part of a D-Group, stop by the Connection Desk on a Sunday and let us know!

Men's and Women's Ministries
Our Men's and Women's Ministries meet bi-weekly on Wednesday nights at 6pm- Men meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month and Women on the 2nd and 4th. They each focus on discipleship with a systematic focus on the topics relevant to living as a godly man or woman, respectively. Every meeting will begin with a time of formal, biblical teaching on the weeks particular topic followed by a time of break out discussion and concluded with a time of identifying practical application and prayer.
Our hope and desire for these ministries is that they will serve a number of purposes for our growing church body: increased spiritual formation, a greater sense of fellowship and friendship with one another as well as another entry point for you to invite others to church in a more 'laid back' setting!
